John 10:11-15
11 I am the fine shepherd;
the fine shepherd surrenders his life in behalf of the sheep.
12 The hired man, who is not a shepherd and to whom the sheep do not belong,
sees the wolf coming and abandons the sheep and
flees and the wolf snatches them and scatters them
13 because he is a hired man and does not care for the sheep.
14 I am the fine shepherd. I know my sheep and my sheep know me,
15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father;
and I surrender my life in behalf of the sheep.

Micah 3:11
Her leaders judge for a bribe, Her priests instruct for a price,
And her prophets practice divination for money. And yet they lean on Jehovah,
saying: “Is not Jehovah with us? No calamity will come upon us.”

Matthew 23:8-12
But you, do not you be called Rabbi,
for one is your Teacher, and all of you are brothers.
9 Moreover, do not call anyone your father on earth,
for one is your Father, the heavenly One.
10 Neither be called leaders,
for your Leader is one, the Christ.
11 But the greatest one among you must be your minister.
12 Whoever exalts himself will be humbled,
and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

1 Peter 5:2, 3
Shepherd the flock of God under your care,
serving as overseers, not under compulsion,
but willingly before God;
not for love of dishonest gain, but eagerly;
3 not lording it over those who are God’s inheritance,
but becoming examples to the flock.
